We want to address pertinent issues faced by the public such as fraudulent activities and unscrupulous
the behavior of some builders, along with issues of delay in possession or obtaining occupancy certificates.
People love to invest in comfortable, affordable homes, and in order to do that, invest a significant amount of money and trust in the said process. However, various unfortunate events recently have led to that trust being shattered completely. Unwarranted delay in issuance of completion of projects within the 3 year period, delayed construction, delay in receiving occupancy certificates, and/or lack of appropriate
furniture and fixtures as otherwise was assured by the Builder.
Furthermore, we also endeavor to address issues concerning the incorrect measurement of the carpet area and the super area, the wrongful usage of the 70% reserve fund created from public investment, and the non-refund of allotment money upon willful cancellation of allotment.
We wish to address such issues that dissuade the buyers and consumers from investing in good real estate projects, and we want to highlight the strict approach undertaken by the Real Estate Regulatory
Authorities and the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in dealing with such lackluster and unprofessional
conduct of the builders.
